Name/TitlePenny (1910)

About this objectBritish penny minted in 1910. On the obverse (heads), it depicts Edward VII (1841-1910), King of the United Kingdom, British Dominion and Emperor of India from 1901-1910. It also includes the abbreviated Latin phrase: "EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP:" which translates to "Edward the Seventh by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India". On the reverse (tails) side, it includes "ONE PENNY" and the date minted "1910", it also includes Britannia, the national personification of Britain.
