Name/TitleFarthing (1941)

About this objectFarthing, minted in 1941. On the obverse (heads), it depicts George VI (1895-1952), King of the United Kingdom, British Dominion and Emperor of India (until 1947) from 1936-1952. Around the portitate it has the abrivated Latin "GEORGIVS VI D G BR OMN REX F D IMP" which translates to "George VI, by the grace of God, King of the Britians, defender of the faith, emperor of India". On the reverse (tails), it depicts a Eurasian Wren. Above the wren is the year 1941, the year it was minted and below it is the Text"FARTHING".
