About this objectTwo bawbees, minted sometime in the 17th century. As the date is uncertain, it could belong from the reign of King James VI of Scotland / I of England all the way to William III, the King of England, Scotland and Ireland. There are many varations of deisgn, though typically it would have a thistle to denote that it was a Scottish sixpence.
