Cromarty Courthouse is delighted and very grateful to have been awarded funding by Museums Galleries Scotland as part of their Museum Development Fund.

On July 20th our museum played host to 23 children with 4 Young Leaders (accompanied by Wanda, Fraser and Michelle) as part of the school holiday activities arranged for members of Cromarty Youth Café.

Visit Scotland has confirmed that our museum has retained its 4 star quality assurance grading!

The Courthouse is one of 15 diverse Highland museums involved in the creation of a new innovative digital learning hub, called the Museum of the Highlands.

Massive Thank You to everyone who helped us raise over £2,000 as we continue celebrating 250 years of Cromarty Courthouse.

In May 2022 a dramatic puppet performance of the Resolis Riot (written and directed by Jon Palmer) was held at the Crimes and Thrillers Weekend in Cromarty.

Courthouse Crimes and Thrillers – join us answering some punishing questions in the Fishertown Inn on Saturday 22 April, 9:00pm for the quiz, earlier for a meal.
