Our museum is delighted to be participating in Cromarty Open Gardens weekend on 2nd and 3rd July.

We are delighted to unveil a new addition to our courtroom this season. We now have on display a court crest – the coat of arms used in Scottish courts.

The Courthouse is open again from Sunday 17th April 2022 until mid October.

The last meeting of this short season for the Cromarty History Society will be held in the Cromarty Old Brewery.

Scotland’s most senior judge took charge of the bench at Cromarty Courthouse Museum last Monday.

The Cromarty History Society talk for March tells of the rebellion and resistance by enslaved Africans, 1800 – 1840.
